This guide provides a step-by-step approach to selecting a workspace, creating, editing, and deleting badge groups, ensuring event organizers can categorize and manage attendee access with ease. By leveraging these tools, administrators can maintain a well-structured event ecosystem, optimizing the experience for both attendees and staff.
Choosing a Workspace
Selecting an Existing Workspace
Browse through the list of workspaces displayed.
Use the Search Bar at the top to find a specific workspace by typing its name.
Identify the workspace you want to work on (e.g., "Alexander event " as highlighted in the image).
Click on the workspace card to select and access it.
Adding New Badge Group
Accessing Badge Groups
Log in to the Blink management dashboard.
Navigate to the left-side menu and expand the Badges section.
Click on Badge Groups to view the list of existing badge groups.
Creating a New Badge Group
Click on the "+ New Badge Group" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
Fill in the Badge Group Details
Name (Required)
Enter a unique name for the badge group.
This name will be used to categorize and manage badges efficiently.
Slug
Input a short, identifier-friendly version of the name.
The slug is auto-generated based on the name but can be customized.
Priority
Assign a priority number to set the order of importance.
Lower numbers indicate higher priority.
Photo (Optional)
Toggle ON/OFF to include a photo on the badge card.
If enabled, upload an image to represent the badge group.
Description
Add a detailed description explaining the purpose of the badge group.
Use formatting tools to enhance readability.
Save the Badge Group
Once all fields are completed, click “Save” in the top-right corner.
If you need to cancel the process, click “Cancel”.
Edit a Badge Group
Locate the Badge Group
Find the badge group you want to edit from the list.
Edit the Badge Group
Click on the pencil (✏️) icon next to the badge group.
A new window will open, allowing you to modify the needed details:
Click Save to apply the changes.
Delete the Badge Group
Click on the trash bin (🗑️) icon next to the badge group.
A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to delete the badge group.
Confirm Deletion
Click Delete to permanently delete the badge group or cancel to cancel the process.
The badge group will be removed from the list.
Note⚠️
Once a badge group is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Ensure that no essential badges are assigned to the group before proceeding with deletion.
