Access Configuration Guide

This step-by-step guide will help you create and manage access features for your event.

The Access Config provides a structured way to define access conditions, relations, and text-based configurations within your event. This helps organizers control access across venues, categories, badges, and other event components more efficiently.

Accessing Access Config

  • Log in to your account and navigate to the event.

  • Find the Event Config tab on the left sidebar.

  • Click on it to expand the menu.

  • Select Access Config from the expanded menu.

  • You will be redirected to the Access Config page.

  • From there, click on + New Feature in the upper right corner to create a new access feature.

Creating New Features For Your Access

The Create New Feature page includes the following details:

  • Title (Required): Add a clear title for the feature.

  • Feature Type (Required): Select the type of feature you want to create.

Feature Types

Text Feature Type

If Text is selected as the Feature Type, an additional Text field will appear on the page.

The Text feature type includes the following details:

  • Title (Required): Add a clear title for the feature.

  • Feature Type (Required): Select Text from the dropdown menu.

  • Text (Required): Enter the text value that will be used for this feature.

  • Note (Optional): Add any additional notes if needed.

Relation Feature Type

If Relation is selected as the Feature Type, an additional Relation Type field will appear on the page.

The Relation feature type includes the following details:

  • Title (Required): Add a clear title for the feature.

  • Feature Type (Required): Select Relation from the dropdown menu.

  • Relation Type (Required): Select the relation type that will be used for this feature.

    • Venues

    • Categories

  • Note (Optional): Add any additional notes if needed.

Condition Feature Type

If Condition is selected as the Feature Type, a condition builder will appear on the page.

The Condition feature type includes the following details:

  • Title (Required): Add a clear title for the feature.

  • Feature Type (Required): Select Condition from the dropdown menu.

  • Select Category (Required): Choose the category that will be used in the condition.

  • Add New: Add another condition within the same group.

  • Clear Condition: Remove the current condition.

  • Add Condition Group: Create an additional condition group.

  • Clear All Conditions: Remove all added conditions.

  • Note (Optional): Add any additional notes if needed.

RSVP Feature Type

If RSVP is selected as the Feature Type, additional RSVP settings will appear on the page.

The RSVP feature type includes the following details:

  • Title (Required): Add a clear title for the feature.

  • Feature Type (Required): Select RSVP from the dropdown menu.

  • Start Date: Select the date when the RSVP feature should start.

  • 1 Day Earlier: Enable this option if needed to allow the attendee to RSVP sessions 1 day earlier.

  • Select Category(ies): Choose the categories that will be linked to this RSVP feature.

  • Capacity Per Session (Required): Enter the allowed capacity for each session.

  • Enable Waitlist: Turn this option on to allow waitlisting for RSVP sessions.

  • Show RSVPed Attendees: Turn this option on to display RSVPed attendees.

With Access Config, you can create and manage access features in one place, making it easier to control how event access is assigned and used. This supports a more organized and scalable event setup.
