Send In-App Actions

This step-by-step guide will help you create and send In-App notifications that includes a Call-to-action button.

Accessing the In-App Guidance Tab

  1. Log in to your account and navigate to the event.

  2. Find the Content tab on the left sidebar.

  3. Click on it to expand the menu.

  4. Select In-App Guidance from the expanded menu.

  5. Click on β€œ+ New Action” button in the top right corner.

You will be redirected to the New Action Form.

Configuring a New Action

  • When (Required): Select when the action will be shown (e.g., Show Now, etc.).

  • Action Type (Required): Choose the type of action, such as "External Link" or others available.

Action Details:

  • Background (Required): Upload a background image for the action by dragging and dropping or clicking to upload a file.

  • Title (Required): Enter the title for the action.

  • Subtitle (Required): Enter a subtitle for the action.

  • Button Text (Required): Specify the text for the button (e.g., "Read more").

  • Button URL (Required): Enter the URL that the button will link to.

Preview the Action

  • A live preview of the action will appear on the right-hand side.

  • Review how the action will look on a mobile interface to ensure it aligns with your expectations.

Once all the required details are filled in, click create in the top-right corner of the form.

If you need to exit without saving, click Cancel.

Tips for Configuring Actions

  • Test URLs: Double-check that the Button URL leads to the correct destination.

  • Optimize Timing: Choose "When" settings that align with the user journey to maximize engagement.
