Room types help categorize accommodations and streamline room assignment during events.
Accessing the Room Types Tab
Log in to your account and navigate to the Accommodation tab.
Click on it to expand the menu.
Select Room Type from the expanded menu.
You will see a list of all existing room types, their names, and the package type assigned to them.
Click on “+ Add Room Type” from the top right corner of the page to create a new room type.
Steps to Configure a New Room Type
Name (Required): Provide a name for the room type.
Event: The event is preselected and cannot be changed.
Same Day Check-In (Optional): (if needed) Toggle the Same Day Check-In option to enable or disable this feature for the room type.
Packages: Choose a package from the dropdown to associate it with this room type (Packages must be created before adding a new room type)
Once all the details are filled in, click the "Create" button in the top-right corner to finalize the configuration.
You can click "Cancel" button at anytime to exit without saving.
Edit a Room Type
Navigate to the Room Types list under the Accommodation section.
Identify the room type you want to edit (e.g., "Test Room").
Click the Pencil Icon to edit.
You will be redirected to the Room Types details page to modify any necessary details such as the name, associated event, same-day check-in toggle, package.
Once the updates are complete, click the "Save" button in the top right corner to confirm your changes.
Your room type will now reflect the updated information.
Delete a Room Type
Navigate to the Room Types list under the Accommodation section.
Identify the room type you want to delete (e.g., "Test Room").
Click the Pencil Icon and choose Delete.
By enabling organizers to create specific room types, the event dashboard allows events to be tailored to your unique needs—ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
