The Home Page of the Blink Organizer App is your command center giving instant access to live sessions, key attendees, and real-time actions, all in one place.

Home Page Overview

On the Home Page of the Organizer App, event organizers can quickly access vital information and manage various aspects of their event.

The "Happening Now" section allows them to monitor ongoing sessions and activities, this displays the list of bookmarked attendee. Organizers can also explore detailed statistics across different categories, including sessions, attendees, venues, and staff, helping them stay on top of event logistics. With quick access to these critical insights and the ability to manage tasks, updates, and more, the home page is a central hub for efficient event oversight.

Home Page Navigation Guide

Top Bar

  • QR Code Scanner: Located in the top-right corner, this icon allows you to quickly to scan badges to check the access of of attendees to different sessions or venues

  • Notifications: Access system alerts and important updates through the bell icon.

Happening Now

  • Displays live or ongoing sessions with key indicators such as “Live”.

  • Tap on any session card to view details, manage attendees, or monitor activity in real time.

Open Incidents

  • Provides a snapshot of current incidents, categorized by severity (Severe, Moderate, Low).

  • Selecting "Show all" opens the full incidents dashboard for further action and tracking.

Important Note:

  • When checking open incidents it includes only on going incidents, however any resolved incidents won't be shown.

Attendees

  • Preview of key attendees, including names, roles, and organizations.

  • Tap a profile for more information or connection options.

  • Use “Show all” to view the complete attendee list with filter and search functionality.

Important Note:

  • Use the bookmark icon found on an attendee’s profile or list card to save them for quick access. Once bookmarked, the attendee will appear in the Attendees section on your Home screen. This helps you easily track key participants like VIPs, speakers, or flagged individuals during the event.

Bottom Navigation Bar

  • Home: Returns you to the main overview screen.

  • Schedule: Opens the full event agenda and session listings.

  • Search: Allows quick lookup for attendees, sessions, or features.

  • Chat: Access group or individual messaging tools.

  • Create (+): Launch quick actions such as creating an incident, or update.

Happening Now

  • Overview: The "Happening Now" section is at the top of the screen. This area displays current or upcoming events or sessions.

  • Session Information:

    • Event Name: The name of the session or event currently taking place is prominently displayed.

    • Time: The scheduled time for the session is also listed.

    • See All: Tap "See All" to view a complete list of ongoing sessions or activities.

Quick Action Button Guide

This feature is designed to help organizers act fast and manage critical needs without navigating through menus.

Tap the purple “+” button at the bottom right to quickly take action during event operations.

When tapped, you’ll see these instant options:

  • Create Update: Send real-time notifications or announcements to relevant users.

  • Create Incident: Report or log an issue that needs attention for safety or operations.

With everything just a tap away, the Home Page helps organizers stay in control, act quickly, and deliver a seamless event experience.
