Creating Lead Captures on Blink ExperienceOS

A step-by-step guide on creating and managing Lead Capture badges.

Collecting leads during events can become difficult to manage when badges have to be tracked manually. With the Lead Captures feature, admins can now create badges that automatically function as lead capture badges by linking the badge to an Entity and setting the maximum number of lead captures allowed. This helps streamline lead collection, control badge usage, and keep lead capture settings organized from the start.

Lead Captures are especially useful when you want specific badges to be used for collecting leads while controlling how many lead captures each badge can acquire.

How To Create Lead Captures

  • Log in to your account and navigate to the event.

  • Find the Badges tab on the left sidebar.

  • Click on it to expand the menu.

  • Select Orders from the expanded menu.

  • On the Orders page, click New Order to begin.

  • Select the Customer tab within the order.

  • Under Customer Information, scroll down to the Entity field.

  • Select the entity you want to link to the order.

  • Once an entity is selected, enter the allowed number in the Lead Capture Badge Limit field.

  • After completing these details, click Update to save your changes.

This will link the order to the selected entity and enable the lead capture capabilities based on the limit you set.

Note: To enable a Lead Capture badge, a badge must first be selected and its quantity added during the order creation process. The Lead Capture Badge Limit is then determined based on the number of badges created in the order. The limit can be lower than the total badge quantity, but it cannot exceed it.

Managing Lead Capture Badges from the Badges List

Once the order is linked to an Entity and the Lead Capture Badge Limit is set, you can manage which badges within that order will function as Lead Capture badges from the Badges List page.

  • On the Badges List page, you will be able to view all badges created under the order.

  • If the order is linked to an Entity, the related badges will display a Lead Capture column.

  • From the Lead Capture column, you can toggle badges on or off depending on whether you want them to function as Lead Capture badges.

  • The number of badges that can be enabled as Lead Capture badges depends on the Lead Capture Badge Limit set during the order creation process.

  • Once the selected badges reach the available limit, you will not be able to enable additional badges unless one of the already selected badges is toggled off first.

Note: Only badges under orders linked to an Entity can be enabled as Lead Capture badges.

Lead Captures help admins manage lead collection more efficiently by giving them clear control over which badges can be used for capturing leads. This keeps badge setup organized, reduces manual work, and ensures lead capture usage stays aligned with the intended order settings.
