Creating Linked Badges

A step-by-step guide on creating and managing Linked Badges through a single Master Badge.

Managing multiple badge variations can become time consuming when each badge has to be created separately. With the Linked Badges feature, you can create a Master Badge that acts as the main badge template and link multiple related badges to it. This allows you to efficiently manage different badge versions while keeping them connected to one main source.

Linked Badges are especially useful when you need multiple badge versions that share the same structure but differ slightly in content, design, or attendee type.

Accessing the Linked Badges

  1. Log in to your account and navigate to the event.

  2. Find the Badges tab on the left sidebar.

  3. Click on it to expand the menu.

  4. Select Badge Types from the expanded menu.

  5. Select a badge from the created already one.

On the Badge Details page, click on Create Linked Badges button to start linking new badges to the Master Badge.

Note: You can’t edit or delete linked badges that have already been published and reserved. To make changes or remove a linked badge, make sure it has not been assigned to any user.

Linked Badges help streamline badge management by keeping related badge versions organized under one main template. This saves time, reduces repetitive work, and makes it easier to maintain consistency across all badge variations.
