Accessing the Drivers Tab
Log in to your account and navigate to the event.
Find the Transportation tab on the left sidebar.
Click on it to expand the menu.
Select Drivers from the expanded menu.
Adding New Driver
Important Note:
Before adding a driver, you need to ensure that a vehicle is created and configured for this Event.
Support article on how to add a new vehicle.
Open the Add Driver Form
In the top-right corner, click the + Add Driver button. This will open a form for adding driver details.
Configure and Add a New Driver
Driver Info:
First Name (Required): Enter the driver's first name.
Last Name (Required): Enter the driver's last name.
Contact No. (Required): Input the driver's valid phone number, including the country code.
ID (Optional): Enter the driver's ID number.
Employer (Optional): Specify the driver's employer's name or organization.
Status (Required): Choose whether the driver is active or inactive. This can be toggled.
Availability:
Select a Vehicle (Required): Choose a vehicle for the driver from the available options.
Events (Required): Select the event(s) the driver will be assigned to from the available list of events.
Configuring Credential Details for a New Driver
Important Note:
These credentials will be used by the driver to log into the Driver App
Username (Required): Enter a unique username for the driver. This will serve as their login ID.
Password (Required): A secure password is automatically generated. Ensure the password meets security requirements (you'll see a green "Your password is good" confirmation).
(Click the eye icon to view the password or copy it to share with the driver.)
Generate QR Code: Click the Generate QR Code button to create a scannable QR code for the driver.
After completing all required fields, click the Create button in the top-right corner to save the new driver.
If you wish to exit without saving, click the Cancel button.
Bulk Actions
Import Drivers in Bulk:
Click the Import button in the top-right corner of the "All Drivers" page.
In the Upload .xls dialog:
Drag and drop your
.xls
file or click to upload it manually.If unsure about the format, download the provided template file to structure your data correctly by clicking on Download Template File.
Once uploaded, the system will add all drivers listed in the file.
Export Driver Data:
Use the Export button to download the current driver list for offline editing or record-keeping.
Edit Drivers
For editing the details for existing drivers click on the Pencil icon next to a driver’s name to modify their details directly.
Delete Drivers
For deleting an existing driver use the following steps:
Click on the Pencil icon next to a driver’s name to access the drivers details page.
From the top right corner click on the three-dots icon.
Choose Delete.
Then confirm your choice.
These steps ensure the driver has secure access to their system credentials and is ready to go live.
